Max Ekengren on his way to Cleantech Capital Day to pioneer Sustainable Solutions with T.Loop

“We need to foster an understanding in the market that energy efficiency is unachievable if we continue to crank up the radiators while keeping the windows wide open."

– Max Ekengren, CFO T.Loop

T.Loop's CFO, Max Ekengren, has just landed in Helsinki for the Cleantech Capital Day, part of the program for the Swedish Energy Agency's Investment Accelerator.

A few weeks ago, we received the exciting news that T.Loop is one of seven companies selected by the Swedish Energy Agency to participate in this year's Investment Accelerator. This accelerator is an initiative by the Energy Agency to promote investment in order to strengthen Swedish growth, create new jobs, and ensure that Swedish, climate-smart solutions reach an international stage, thereby accelerating the global transition. The goal is to improve investment readiness for the companies involved in the accelerator and to enhance their prospects of meeting investors and accessing financing. From T.Loop's side, the work is led by the company's CFO, Max Ekengren.

"I look forward to leading the work alongside our dedicated partners from the accelerator. We are in a period of strong growth and the aim of this initiative is to make us even more scalable and increase our investment readiness," says Max.

"My ambition is to craft a compelling message that highlights the opportunities to streamline our industry. American ARM, one of the world leaders in CPUs, recently predicted that 20% of the USA's total electricity consumption will be used to power data centers with the current development within AI. It's clear that we cannot increase electricity consumption so dramatically in one industry while we are supposed to be transitioning. It's not possible to do what the data center industry does today - keeping the windows open and the heaters on full blast."

"It's not just a Swedish issue but a global problem we are trying to solve. T.Loop is an essential part of the solution, and thus we must be able to scale up quickly and internationally to maximize our impact. It feels incredibly rewarding to be one of this year's seven selected companies in the Investment Accelerator, participating in the program, both in terms of sparring to further hone our skills and also leveraging their strong international network. I am looking forward to many exciting dialogues over the coming days."

As we continue to engage with global partners and leaders at the Cleantech Capital Day, our focus remains clear: to not only participate in the dialogue but to actively shape it. We aim to transform these insights into actionable strategies that reinforce T.Loop's position at the forefront of sustainable technology.

Our journey is about more than growth—it's about setting a standard for environmental stewardship and innovation that resonates worldwide.
