T.Loop speakers at next CIOCO2
We are incredibly proud to announce that T.Loop’s Staffan Stymne and Cecilia Hjertzell have been invited as speakers at the upcoming CIOCO2 conference on November 14, 2023. CIOCO2 is an industry initiative that has rapidly become a key player in Sweden’s transition to sustainable IT.
Staffan and Cecilia will be discussing how data centers play a pivotal role in being part of the solution to the energy transition.
Among other topics, they will address the fact that in 2018, data centers accounted for 2.7% of the EU’s total energy consumption. This figure is projected to increase by 28% by 2030, a scenario outlined before the AI boom. Industry experts foresee an explosive demand for computing power driven by AI advancements. However, with a circular business model, data centers can instead contribute energy to society and become a crucial component of the green energy transition.
