T.Loop Welcomes Former X Shore Deputy CEO Helena Fagraeus Lundström as CEO
"It feels incredibly exciting to join a company at a stage where I can influence its development while also contributing to transforming an entire industry," says Helena Fagraeus Lundström, the newly appointed CEO of T.Loop.
A Strategic Recruitment for T.Loop’s Growth
T.Loop is strengthening its leadership team by appointing Helena Fagraeus Lundström as the new CEO. Helena most recently held a key role at Solkompaniet, where she played a central part in the company’s growth and development. Her recruitment comes at a time of increasing demand for sustainable data center solutions.
Having quickly established itself as a forward-thinking player, T.Loop currently operates three data centers in Stockholm and has signed its first commercial contract. Plans are already underway for expanding to additional sites in major Nordic cities. The exponential growth of data, particularly driven by AI, has created a booming market where demand significantly exceeds supply.
“We are thrilled to welcome Helena, who brings extensive experience from senior roles in business strategy and commercial development. Her strong commitment to climate, sustainability, and energy issues makes her exactly what we need during this exciting phase of growth,” says Jonas Nyman, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of T.Loop.
T.Loop’s Circular Business Model for Sustainable Data Centers
T.Loop’s circular business model enables the utilization of 100% of data center waste heat to warm buildings or convert it into district heating. It also provides the data centers’ backup capacity to help balance the power grid. This approach addresses the increasing energy demands of the data center industry in the era of AI development.
“I look forward to leading the talented T.Loop team in transforming data centers from large energy consumers to contributors of systemic value. T.Loop’s business model makes it possible for data centers to become integral parts of tomorrow’s sustainable energy systems,” says Helena Fagraeus Lundström.
As Helena assumes her new role as CEO on January 15, 2025, T.Loop’s co-founder and current CEO, Staffan Stymne, will transition into the role of Deputy CEO, focusing on the company’s strategic and technical development.
